What was crucified with Christ? (Galatians 2:20)

Monday, 18. January 2010

Author: Mark Virkler

• Self consciousness died and Christ consciousness came alive. I was restored to the original experience of the Garden of Eden, before man fell from union consciousness to self consciousness.

• In receiving a new spirit, I went from a dead spirit — one cut off from Christ — to a live spirit — one reunited with Christ. I went from separation to union, from self’s strength to divine flow.

• I no longer ask God to help “me” become better, because that prayer betrays a still resident belief that “I” am separate from Him, and thus shows that I am still living “self conscious” rather than “Christ conscious.” Instead I simply ask Jesus to do the job through me — demonstrating that through revelation knowledge I have moved back to union consciousness, and I now see myself as the “Christ I” acting.

• My spirit was reconnected to the Holy Spirit Who is working out my soul’s salvation, for it is Christ at work in me, healing my shattered heart, restoring my soul and healing my body (Phil. 2:12,13).

He doesn’t want to give me strength; He wants to BE my strength.
He doesn’t want to give me wisdom; He wants to BE my wisdom.
He doesn’t want to give me love; He wants to BE my love

Q. So, Lord, what was my problem? Why am I uncomfortable when I teach the seminar on Naturally Supernatural?

Mark, you have been accentuating the fact that you are a vessel. Mark, you are more than a vessel — there is also an organic union. Eventually you become conscious of Me at all times; there is no more this illusion of separation, that I am something within you and separate from you. There comes the revelation that we are one, and so life and vocabulary take on a whole new perspective.

You no longer say that “I am the negative and God is the positive.” You are joined to God, so you have become positive, for you have learned to live out of your roots at all times, and to be conscious of your roots at all time. You are no longer self conscious. You are constantly Christ conscious. So you no longer say, “I am the negative and Christ is the positive.” The new reality is that the two have become one. You say “I” and you mean “Christ.” So you begin saying, “I am the positive.”

There is a progression. You go from speaking of:
• “I” living, out of my own strength, to
• “I” stepping to the indwelling Christ Who is my life, to
• “I” living who is the “Christ I” living.

Those are the stages one goes through. You are actually in the third stage at this point in your life, and you were talking as though you were in the second stage. Thus you experienced confusion. You have not distinguished the fact that there is a progression in one’s revelation and thus one’s vocabulary as he goes through this process.

Q. Lord, am I to speak of the old man, or only the new man? Would I want any more to speak of the illusion, or only the reality?

Mark, you only want to speak of the new reality you have found in Christ. You only want to speak of the truth, never the illusion, never error. So don’t speak of whom the “self I” is. If self seeks to rear his ugly head (resurrect himself), confess that which is true (who you are in Christ). That is whom you are to speak of, and only of that, not of error. Not of the old man, because he has been done away with and a new man now lives. Speak and live only out of the new man, never the old man who has been done away with. Thus I have spoken, and thus it is to be done.

Mark, the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. So the flesh will express weakness, but the spirit will not. So you may say, “My flesh is weak but my spirit is strong.” That is a true confession and that is permissible. However, your focus should always be on energizing your spirit through My Holy Spirit, so that its energy overcomes the weakness of the flesh. Always put the accent on the spirit, never on the flesh. Always speak of the spirit much more than you speak of the flesh. Always fix your eyes on the spirit much more than you fix your eyes on the flesh. Even though you acknowledge the flesh, you never fix your attention upon it. You always fix your attention on the union of My Spirit to your spirit and the flow of My life into and through you. That way you are always fixed upon the positive and never the negative.

So you will never accentuate the fact that you are weak, or powerless, or ignorant. It may be true from time to time that your flesh is, or you are, if you step back from the “Christ I” to the “self I,” but speak instead of who you are in Christ. Your eyes are fixed on Christ. Your mouth confesses who you are in Christ. And you live in Christ. Thus you have been overcome by Christ, and it is the “Christ I” who lives, and not the “self I.”

Thank You, Lord.

How Many Of You Will Start A New Business In 2010?

Monday, 18. January 2010

Author: Phillip Ross

Things do not appear to be improving in the job market so far this year. People are just plain having a hard time finding a job. This has got me thinking about how many people will start a new business in 2010 and the opportunities it presents.

I saw a couple on the Mike Huckaby show on Fox News last weekend who just started a “Pooper Scooper” business. They did this out of necessity once the husband had been out of work for over six months.

He was a six figure earner who lost his job, had one son enter college, and three daughter’s weddings all in the same year. Needless to say this put quite a strain on their finances.

After sending out over 400 resumes, and only getting one telephone job interview, he and his wife sat down and started thinking of businesses they could start. They ultimately started their pooper scooper business to fill a need in their local market, and to generate much-needed income.

There are people coming online all day long who are searching for ways to make money as well. This presents an opportunity for people who are in the work at home, home business, or make money at home niche.

Providing information products and programs that help people start a new business can be very lucrative. It also is a niche that never seems to run out of prospects.

This is especially true as we look at our New Year here in 2010 and all of the people who are struggling financially. For you to capitalize on this type of market you need to represent products that people are willing to purchase.

You also need to be involved in money making programs that teach people how to use the Internet to make money. Membership sites are a good of this because you can plug your prospects into them and get paid on a monthly basis.

These also take you off the hook of providing all of the information yourself. Plus you can feel good about hooking people up with a site such as this where they really will be helped.

Of course the best thing you can do is be a member yourself so you can pre sell your prospects on it. That actually is true with any make money or home business product you are going to promote online.

If you are involved in affiliate marketing for example you should purchase the affiliate products, write reviews of them, and then market the product that way.

Who knows how many thousands of people will start a new business in 2010? It certainly is more than you can personally help, but if you find the right products and programs to promote you can benefit financially.

What is a Mezuzah

Monday, 18. January 2010

Author: Ken Levi

A Mezuzah/Mezuza is a combination of piece of parchment and a designed decorative case in which the parchment is put. The parchment or the Mezuzah scroll contains Hebrew verses from the Torah (Deuteronomy 6:4-9 and 11:13-21) The beginning of the prayer is the phrase: “Hear O Israel: God is our God; God is one These words are said in Jewish prayer every morning and evening and contain the primal statement of what it means to be a Jew. A mezuzah is affixed to the doorframe of Jewish homes to fulfill the Biblical commandment (Mitzva) that says the Mezuzah should be affixed on every doorway in the home apart from bathrooms or places too small to be a room. The commandment says: “And you shall inscribe them on the doorposts of you home, and on your gates” (ibid., verse 9).

Mezuzah is also a symbol of god’s watchful care. The name of God, Sha-dai, which appears on the reverse side of the parchment, is an acronym for the Hebrew words which mean “Guardian of the doorways of Israel”. The Jewish belief is that placing a Mezuzah protects the inhabitant of the house wherever they are – inside or outside the house.
The scroll of the Mezuzah is made by a special qualified scribe who trained for that holy job for many years.
The tradition of placing a Mezuzah is as long as the existence of the Jewish nation and even in the long years of Diaspora, the Jewish people kept this tradition firmly.

Affixing the Mezuzah has also several rules. The Mezuzah should be placed on each doorpost of the house in entrance to each room on the right side of the door and in the upper third of the doorpost. Jewish rule states that a Mezuzah should be placed within 30 days after moving into a rented house or apartment.

Before affixing the Mezuzah there is a special blessing that is recite once just before putting up the Mezuzah.

The Blessing in Hebrew is: Baruch Atah Adonai Eloheinu Melech haolam asher kideshanu bemitzvotav vetzivanu likboa mezuzah.

The Blessing in English: Blessed are you, God our God, King of the Universe, Who has made us holy with his mitzvahs and commanded us to affix a mezuzah.

After that blessing the Mezuzah is permanently attached to the doorpost with the top pointing inwards.

MIRACLES ABOUND AMONGST US ON EARTH

MIRACLES ABOUND AMONGST US ON EARTH.

In this life that we live in, certain events and occurrences are yet to be completely appreciated and comprehended. For example, it is common knowledge that a woman is expected to carry her pregnancy for a period of 9 months, after which delivery of the baby is expected. Nevertheless, there are recorded cases of women who require as much as 1 to 3 years before the delivery of their baby. When the previous occurs, it is regarded as a model; on the contrary, when the latter occurs, it is regarded as out of the ordinary.

Uncommon events are sometimes regarded as miracles. Miracles and their realism have been debated among religious and philosophical scholars. While some believe and uphold its presence, others frown at the claims that it exists, describing it as a mere plot to coax people into believing the doctrine of a particular religion. Interestingly, there are several recorded happenings which suggest that miracles abound amongst us on earth and it is indeed a reality. One of such is the case of Mrs. Okorie Esther.

At 43, Mrs. Okorie Esther from Anambra state, East of Nigeria was diagnosed of Mal-united tibia, plateau fractures and fracture of the left ankle. Her mobility was aided by the use of a set of crutches, which she ensured was always her companion, in order to move around, albeit so much in serious pains and discomfort.  She had been booked for a total knee replacement. The doctors had advised that she should reject the only option that could ensure that she would walk again as a normal person. The advice from the medical doctors was necessitated by the fact that, at 43, she was too young to undergo that kind of procedure, and this could result in total loss of the use of her legs and their functions.

In an attempt to recover the use of her legs, Mrs Okorie had resorted to herbalists, who milked her of her money, guaranteeing eventual success. When she realized that this was yielding no tangible result, she decided to turn to God for a miracle. With the numerous miraculous healings that she had read about and saw on Emmanuel TV, she decided that her next and final port of call was The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations, where she believed that with a touch from Prophet TB Joshua, she would be declared free from her terrible condition.

Like they say, let us hear from the horse’s mouth:

“My name is Mrs. Okorie Esther, I am 43 years old, from Anambra state but I reside in Abuja. I was a volunteer manager for the recently concluded FIFA U-17 world cup, Nigeria 2009. What brought me to The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations is Mal-united tibia, plateau fractures and fracture of the left ankle. I cannot walk alone with my legs so I have to use crutches wherever I want to go. Just before the games, I slipped and fractured the distal of my ankle, both the tibia and the fibular. Prior to this, two years ago, precisely January 13th, after I was involved in a car crash and I was diagnosed of fracture of the tibia, and this very fracture before the games had caused a mal-united fracture of my tibia and I have been referred to Artemis Health institute, India, for a total knee replacement but the doctors there have warned me that the procedure is not ideal for a person of my age. They said that I am too young for the procedure and that it could result in a total collapse of the functions of my legs.”

Continuing she said: “I have gone to many hospitals and the condition has not improved. I have even visited different herbalists, but all to no avail. I remembered that I once saw how people were healed on Emmanuel TV; I have also read testimonies of people that were healed by God through Prophet TB Joshua. I then decided that this was the final destination for me to receive my healing. I have come from Abuja because I believe that God can use the man of God TB Joshua to heal me”.

Interestingly, before praying for her, Prophet TB Joshua turned to the large number of worshippers inside the church auditorium and asked a question. He asked: “Do we have anyone here that believes that God cannot use him or her to perform miracle at all? You believe that God cannot use you, you believe that there is no miracle, you find it difficult to believe that there is miracle – stand up”.

“I find it hard to believe that there are miracles. I don’t believe it because I cannot understand how it works” screamed a young man, who jumped out of the crowd with enthusiasm. “My name is Obachide Ani, a Nigerian based in South Africa and although I have been a Christian for a very long time, I am yet to believe in miracles because I don’t understand how it happens. That is why I find it hard to believe it,” he said.

The following conversation ensued between Prophet TB Joshua and Mr. Ani:

Prophet TB Joshua: What do you understand is her problem?

Mr. Obachide Ani: It’s worse, man of God.

Prophet TB Joshua: Go and meet her and find out the situation she is in; so that I can now reveal God to you.

Mr. Obachide Ani: Ok, man of God.

Prophet TB Joshua: Anybody can be used to raise the dead but to maintain that grace of continuing doing it is where the problem lies. You go there now and touch the woman.

You first of all ask for forgiveness and say “Lord, your mercy and favour is all I need”, Prophet TB Joshua continued.

Repeat after me “Thank you lord. Your mercy and your favour is all I need. Forgive my sins Lord. Son of David, have mercy on me and commit yourself to the healing of this sister in Jesus Christ’s name”.

You can now bend down and touch the leg.

Mr Ani offered the prayer and touched her legs. Prophet TB Joshua then instructed Mr Ani to hold her right hand and lay his hand on her head, praying to God to heal her. After praying for her, Prophet TB Joshua told the woman, “Woman, it is not this man that is working, it’s God – rise up”!

Immediately, Mrs Okorie, whose only means of mobility was the crutches, stood up and walked by herself. “I am healed! Thank you Lord”, she screamed. Joy filled the air as Mrs. Okorie shouted at the top of her voice, thanking God for declaring freedom on her life and ending the pains and suffering she had endured.

This miracle in the life of Mrs. Okorie Esther confounded Mr. Obachide Ani and served as a proof to him that indeed miracles abound in the midst of men, and that God is the same today, tomorrow and forever; He never changes. God can use any medium to express Himself to man and He chooses whichever vessel He deems fit, sometimes going against the expectations and criteria of man.

How to Play a Few Psychic Related Games

Monday, 18. January 2010

Author: Liza Elizna

Free psychic reading for 5 mins can be done through various ways and is possible to be completed within a short span of time not exceeding 5 mins. Given below are some of the methods for free psychic reading for 5 mins.

Card Control

This is the easy free psychic reading for 5 mins. Have the subject remove 13 cards from a deck of cards. Secretly note the bottom card. Have subject remove any card as you fan them out. Square up the cards and have the subject place his card on the top of the squared cards. Have him cut the cards a few times. Blindfold yourself so you can see down if needed. Alternately you can have the subject cover your eyes with his right hand. With his other hand have him spread the cards across the table face up (this is the reason for only using 13 cards…the cards will spread further apart.) Have the spectator take hold of your wrist and hold your hand over the cards as you extend your forefinger. Proceed to find the card without peeking. If you fail, then peek. Yes you can see down, even with the spectator covering your eyes with one hand. Look for the key card. It will be to the left of the spectator’s card.

Rolling the Dice

Rolling a dice is also an easy free psychic reading for 5 mins. One can roll a dice, note down the number and then roll it again. You come into the room and place the dice to the rolled number. This can be done a few ways. Probably the easiest would be to write out the numbers one through six on a pad. Once you find the correct thought of number on the pad, continue as if you are having a hard time. Ask them to touch your forehead instead. You then pick up the die, turn it around a few times, and finally place it on the table with the correct number face up with dramatic flair. A helpful hint here is not to use anyone who was involved with acting out the task. Rather, use someone that has observed the actions. This will save confusion if you have to place something in their pocket or have to involve them in the action in some way.

Book Tests

This method can also be considered as free psychic reading for 5 mins. In this method, someone removes a book from the shelf of books, opens it, and draws an imaginary line under any word on any page. They then place the book back on the shelf. You find the correct book and underline the correct word. You may find it easier to use various techniques here. Find the book. Use the number test to find the right page. Open to that page and find the correct word by moving your outstretched index finger around the page. Once you find the area that gives the most resistance, move your finger in smaller circles until you find the correct word. You could also move your finger down the page having the subject think “stop” at the correct line. Then move your finger across the line telling the subject to think “stop” when you come to the word.

In his experience it was too political

Monday, 18. January 2010

Author: Roger Williams

He introduced himself as Jim when he answered my ring on his doorbell.  I explained that I was in his street today representing my local church, offering prayer for any personal or family needs.  Jim, perhaps in his mid-fifties, was surprised, telling me his local church didn’t do this and wondered why mine did.  I explained that we believed it was part of our calling, based on the command of the Lord Jesus Christ, who told the church to go and tell others what Christ had done for them.  He nodded his head.

I asked him if he would like a New Testament to read, but he declined, telling me he already had three Bibles in the house, plus a Bible Commentary.  Some people express great pride to me when they make similar statements, but this was not case with this man, he had a rather sorrowful expression on his face.

I then asked what church he was associated with and when he told me, he added that he hadn’t been there for some years.  With that, he invited me inside.  I knew the Spirit of God was upon Jim at that moment because when this is not so, I don’t get invited in.  In fact, some people will often slam the door in my face or hurl some abuse, or both.  He led me into a lovely big lounge-room and asked me to take a seat while he made us a coffee.  When he came back with the coffees and took his seat, Jim asked me more about the work I was doing, seeming to be genuinely interested, asking one question after another.

Based on those questions, I asked Jim what his perceptions were of the church and of Christianity in general.  He quietly replied that in his experience it was too political.  Then he told me that he used to attend church regularly with his wife and family, and that he was an elder for many years. He paused in thought and then more words were spoken between us about church politics, me being rather ignorant of it at the time.  Little did I know however, that in less than four years I was going to experience the very unpleasant realities of that in my own church.

He went on to tell me that he’d put his heart and soul into serving his local church as a young man and was still doing so into his early forties.  He didn’t tell me what specifically happened but I could see that he’d had a severe negative experience in his church and that this had deeply hurt him.  He shared with me that he’d lost time from his wife and family, as well as his business.  Not only that, but his children, who were going to be Christians, had now become Buddhists.  His wife was from Thailand, and was a practising Buddhist.

Jim made some remarks about the behaviour that he’d observed when among Buddhist people, telling me how different they appeared to be in their religious practice and everyday lives, in comparison to the many church-goers that he knew.  His wife used to go to the church services with him, but often made comments about the glaring conflict between the message of the gospel of Christ and the behaviour of many in their gatherings.

Jim was a genuine person.  During this time I was also praying to the Lord, asking Him to give me specific wisdom for this man.  At such times it’s always very easy to give “stock” answers from the Bible, but I knew that to be unwise.  Then the Pharisees came to mind, so I was now able to bring them into our conversation.  He was more than familiar with the gospels, which tell us of the on-going problems Jesus had with most of those people.

So we spoke about how these Pharisees saw themselves as the religious elite, a pious, controlling group who had, in their thinking, all the knowledge of God, but how Jesus shows us that it was all in their heads and none in their hearts.  We spoke about their love for religious legalistic behaviour and the fact that this type of people have always been alive and well in church gatherings right down through church history.

Praying for continuous wisdom, I then spoke of the problems we can create for ourselves by confusing man’s religious behaviour with that of Jesus Christ.  I then asked Jim if he had a personal relationship with Christ.  I asked him if Jesus was his Lord and Saviour.  He said yes.  Following that, we had a long conversation about his beliefs, some of which by now had become a mixture of Bible and Buddhism, but he listened silently and gave positive responses when I shared the differences.

I explained to him that basically Christianity is not a religion, but rather, it is a relationship – a relationship with God in the name of Jesus Christ, as He reveals and teaches us of Himself from the Bible.  I explained that the Bible shows us that Christianity is God reaching down to us in Christ, encouraging us to surrender our lives to Him, but that many people don’t want that, they want to be in control of their lives and the lives of others, just like those Pharisees.  Jim related to the latter part of that statement.  I then encouraged him to open the Scriptures every day and look to Christ and trust His word and reality, no matter what others may do or say in His name.

He then spoke of his health (angina) problems, his family and his business, sharing that his son runs a major part of it interstate and that they employ a lot of people from one particular Christian denomination, not his own.  The presence of God was in the room with us.  As mentioned earlier, at the beginning Jim appeared to be somewhat sorrowful, but now he was relaxed and peaceful.  He acknowledged this as being of Christ.  I got up to leave and he asked me to stay and have another coffee with him.  I did.  During this period he spoke more about his family, married daughters, business and then he brought the conversation back to Jesus Christ.

I asked him if there was anything he would like me to pray for and he said yes.  So I waited on God, He gave me the words to say to meet Jim’s needs, prayer for him to trust God’s written word, trust His living reality, prayer for his health, protection for his wife overseas and for his children and business success.

On the way out Jim showed me his home extensions taking place and spoke enthusiastically of how he was going to use the extra space.  After we shook hands that day, I never saw Jim again, but it was an honour to be sent by God to speak with such a man for a couple of hours. “All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.”   John 6:37.

You are in for a special treat today, because I am about to show you street self defense training that will take your current martial arts training to the next level. Even if you are new to martial arts or street based combat, this article will give you great pointers on how to fight and survive an attack!

Learn street self defense #1 – Always and I mean always pay attention to the people, the place, and the environment you are in. If you get a gut feeling that something is wrong, by all means try to get away from the place, or people. If you see shady looking guys giving you a stare by all means walk away and get out of there. Listen to yourself. If you can avoid dangerous places or people by all means do it. Being able to avoid self defense situations is one of the biggest secrets of martial arts!

Learn street self defense #2 – Don’t wait for the bad guy to strike, grab or hit you first. You need to be the first person to initiate the fight. This will throw the scumbag off of his plan to attack first he has already rehearsed in his mind. Attack first with a finger to the eyes and stomp the shins and knee caps. Be sure that you continue to follow through with further strikes, grabs, chokes, throws, stomps, kicks basically whatever you can do throw a bad guy off of his game plan. This is why I always suggest you carry a self defense tool, because being able to attack your opponent with it before he mugs you, will put you that much more ahead of the game.

Learn street self defense #3 – After you have thrown the first few strikes keep on attacking. Unless if you are Mike Tyson, you probably don’t have a one punch knockout. So continue attacking as aggressively as possible. Attack areas like the groin, throat, neck, eyes, face, kneecaps, shins. You want to attack your opponent as hard as possible as fast as you possibly can. Don’t show any remorse or fear of your victim, just attack as hard as humanly possible. Don’t get scared of being hit, instead embrace being hit and let it teach you that you are alive. The more pain you feel, the more pain your opponent is probably feeling too, as long as you fight hard.

Follow these simple ways to improve your fighting skills and being able to learn street self defense even better!

The Sages teach us that the Egyptians gave everyone jobs at which they were not skilled in order to increase their frustration and prevent them from having any sense of accomplishment. How did the Sages know?

The Foundation Stone™ did some serious research on this issue and found an interesting article from the Egyptian News Pyramid. We post the following with their permission:

Pharaoh Speaks At Annual Conference of Jewish Midwives Association of Egypt

Our great, wonderful, wise and beloved king Pharaoh honored the Jewish Midwives Association of Egypt by agreeing to be the honoree and guest speaker at their annual conference. The Egyptian News Pyramid is honored to offer a transcript of his majesty’s speech:

********************************************************************************
Thank you very much for this great honor, of which I am definitely deserving.

I come today to honor you who take care of the future of your people by caring for the newest members of your nation, and my newest subjects, the newborn.

I speak for all my people, the citizens of Egypt, in thanking you for the work you do for the babies you deliver.

Many describe your heroic efforts on behalf of the mothers delivering these babies. They speak of the terrible hours at which you must leave your homes to care for these women. They honor your efforts to ease their pain during delivery. People are impressed by all you do to protect the mothers during the difficult hours of delivery.

I, however, your great, beloved and humble king, focus instead on what you do for the future, for the children you bring into the world. I know how hard you work to soothe the babies and clean and dress them for their parents. I do not consider your work to be that of midwives, people who help women give birth, but rather on your contribution to Egypt’s future as Baby Soothers and Baby Decorators. I hereby officially decree that the name of your organization be changed to the Association of Jewish Baby Soothers & Dressers of Egypt. I bestow upon you new titles consistent with the new name of your organization: Shifra – Official Baby Dresser, and Puah – Official Baby Soothers.

There is no need to thank me, your infinitely kind king, for these great honors. Why should you be honored for helping these helpless women who always cry during this beautiful event? Why should people speak of all you do to protect the lives of mother and child? Do they not appreciate your task of being baby dressers and soothers?

Know that your great and glorious king understands what you do and honors you for these important tasks. I commit myself to be personally involved in your efforts and plan to meet privately with the new Shifras and Puahs as soon as possible.

***************************************************************************************
The response to the king’s wonderful and generous speech was overwhelming.

There were a few women, respected in the Jewish community, who were less than thrilled with Pharaoh’s speech. They claimed that our wise king was belittling their work rather than honoring their efforts. “I am not honored by being renamed a baby dresser,” said one, obviously ungrateful woman, who spoke from behind a veil and could not be identified. Another woman, young enough to be the daughter of the first, laughed, “Baby soother! Is he nuts? I save lives!” The Egyptian Internal Security will investigate these treasonous comments.

This newspaper will report to you on the private meeting between Pharaoh and the leaders of the new organization.

PS. The Palace Authorities confirm that Pharaoh met with the Shifras and Puahs in a private meeting but will not comment on any of the details of the meeting. Do you think these women have something to hide? Rumor has it that they are taking better care than ever of the children. Obviously, our wise and gracious king has inspired them!
